Sunday Night Lights, a part of the series “Cinema Pálás-diso” explores the inner part of the now closed art house movie theatre Pálás located in Galway City Centre.
Its closure in February 2025 was a surprise to the public but some surmised that due to the decreased interest in the cinema experience, it was inevitable.
The brutalist architectural design is an outstanding building to the city and this series aims to prove that.
As cinema and architecture have played such a huge role in my life, this is my way of preserving and honoring them both.
